Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a backend software engineer with 4-5 years of experience to design, build, and scale backend services and APIs for AR/VR platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and services across devices such as headsets and smart glasses, while maintaining strong documentation and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of backend development experience building, maintaining, and scaling backend infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale systems serving many users.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build scalable backend services and APIs.
• Help partners integrate apps/services onto Client's AR/VR devices including headsets and Smart Glasses.
• Work with partner technical teams to integrate with Partner APIs and services.
• Develop a robust understanding of the Client platforms/APIs and underlying implementations.
• Ensure great documentation and best practices are created to collaborate with partners.
• Knowledge of scalable data pipelines and ETL pipelines.
• Proven expertise in debugging and maintaining scalable services and APIs.
