You will work on real-time and historical data pipelines, APIs, and distributed systems, collaborating with quants and portfolio managers to translate investment requirements into robust platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience developing production-quality backend software in C#, with a focus on distributed systems and APIs (REST/gRPC).
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting backend services in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed system design, data modeling, and time-series/event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with streaming and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka) and scalable data pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Kubernetes) and modern data/storage technologies.
• Proficiency with SDLC, testing, monitoring, and production-support practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and extend core C# analytics services, APIs, and libraries used across the Macro business.
• Develop and operate high-performance distributed systems with correctness, low latency, and scalability.
• Build real-time and historical analytics services supporting pricing, risk, and market data workflows.
• Maintain time-aware data models and services for analytics use cases.
• Develop and integrate derived data pipelines and datasets for research, backtesting, and production analytics.
• Contribute to API design, data modeling, and system architecture for shared analytics platforms.
• Integrate analytics services with batch and streaming data pipelines across research and trading workflows.
• Collaborate with quants and portfolio managers to translate investment requirements into platform capabilities.
• Contribute to system reliability through testing, monitoring, and operational best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to improve design and performance.
