Job summary

Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated Backend Engineer (.NET) to join its core application development team, with additional front-end contributions as needed.

You will develop and maintain backend services using .NET Framework and .NET Core, design APIs, and collaborate with Senior Engineers to translate requirements into robust code. Banking/fintech experience is a plus, and a hybrid work model is supported.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core.
• Good knowledge of consuming and designing REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server or equivalent).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with clear timelines.
• Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps etc;
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies.
• Prior experience in a banking or fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend application using .NET Framework and .NET Core;
• Participate in the design and implementation of APIs and integration services with external systems;
• Collaborate with Senior Engineers and Functional Analysts to analyze requirements and implement them in code;
• Participate in code review, unit testing and QA processes from the development side;
• Support bug fixing and optimization of existing code;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
