Job summary

N26 is hiring a software engineer to build robust financial services in a market-leading fintech environment. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software using JVM languages and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.

You will collaborate with a diverse team, stay current with tech trends, and contribute ideas at our Get Stuff Done Days. Relocation with visa support is available, plus a range of employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Experience with modern cloud architectures, preferably AWS.

About the opportunity

You will work in the Financial Empowerment domain. In this role, you will:

• Do discovery, design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software in a thriving environment.
• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables whilst working in a team who enjoy knowledge sharing sessions.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology.
• Propose new findings during our Get Stuff Done Days GSDD.

What you need to be successful:

• Experience in developing software using a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems (note: experience of Kotlin would be a plus).
• Sound understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Appreciation of working in a modern cloud architecture, preferably with AWS.
