Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Java Spring Boot Developer (GCP) in New York, NY to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. You will build secure RESTful APIs and microservices, deploy cloud-native apps on GCP, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires strong Java 17+ expertise, Spring ecosystem mastery, and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

Proficient in Java 17+ with OOP, collections and concurrency.
Expert in Spring Boot, Core, DI and backend development.
Design and implement RESTful APIs with security and validation.
Experience with Microservices and cloud-native patterns.
Hands-on with GCP services (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL/BigQuery).
Familiar with JUnit/Mockito and API testing tools.
GIT, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications in Java/Spring Boot.
Build secure, high-performing REST APIs and microservices.
Develop, deploy, and support cloud-native apps on GCP.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software.
Implement automated tests, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
