Expedia Group is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our pricing services team. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance services, collaborating with product and partner teams to deliver scalable solutions for millions of travelers.

You will own operational quality through monitoring, testing, and on-call rotations, applying secure coding practices and contributing to AI/ML-enabled features in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience owning features or services end-to-end within a bounded scope.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language and APIs.
• Familiarity with AI-driven systems and AI/ML concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain services using core Expedia Group technologies.
• Contribute to system design, API design, and data modeling for scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with product, design, and partner engineering teams to deliver value.
• Own operational quality with monitoring, logging, testing, and on-call participation.
