Job summary

AI on the Hill in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Backend Engineer to design APIs, data pipelines, and integrations for TriClick™, advancing AI-driven clinical trial automation. You will build scalable server-side infrastructure to process sensitive clinical data.

Responsibilities include implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, developing data pipelines, and ensuring security and compliance across HIPAA and 21 CFR Part 11.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Understanding of security best practices and healthcare compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Build data processing pipelines for clinical datasets
• Ensure system security and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2, 21 CFR Part 11)
• Optimize database performance and system scalability
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers on model serving infrastructure
