Job summary

Zohorecruit in Bedminster, NJ is seeking a Software Engineer with strong backend development experience to design, build and continually improve the client's online platform. You will build scalable services with Node.js, REST APIs, and robust security.

You will integrate with AI APIs, work on RAG-based solutions, and collaborate with frontend teams. Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms is required, along with Docker, Git, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Backend engineer with experience building scalable applications, APIs, and integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build REST APIs and backend integrations connecting internal and external apps.
• Develop clean, reusable backend components with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Implement authentication, authorization, logging, error handling, and API security.
• Collaborate with frontend teams using Angular or similar frameworks.
• Integrate apps with LLM and Generative AI APIs; support RAG apps.
• Work with MCP servers, AI tools, and agent workflows.
• Write tests, review code, and troubleshoot issues.
• Participate in application deployment and CI/CD processes.
• Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• API authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.
• Experience with Git, workflows, architecture, logging, and debugging.
• Exposure to Generative AI concepts and LLMs.
