Role Overview

Our client is looking for a Backend Engineer with strong fundamentals in TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. This role is focused on building and maintaining secure, scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in English, and has experience working with APIs—preferably in financial services, payments, or security-related domains.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript + Node.js.
• Design and optimize data models in PostgreSQL.
• Build and integrate APIs with a strong focus on security and reliability.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure best practices in code quality and architecture.
• Contribute to technical discussions in clear and professional English.
• Support integrations with financial institutions and banking partners.

Requirements
