Job summary

Nourish, Inc. is seeking a Nutrition Specialist to develop personalized nutrition plans, provide expert guidance to clients, and support our mission to promote health and well-being.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Valid certification or licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent credential.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in clinical nutrition, wellness coaching, or a related area.
  • Strong understanding of dietary guidelines, nutritional science, and health assessment tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in using health management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients’ nutritional needs through consultations, health assessments, and reviewing medical histories.
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans tailored to individual health goals and lifestyle preferences.
  • Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Educate clients on healthy eating habits, dietary restrictions, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals, such as physicians and fitness trainers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and trends in nutrition to continuously improve service offerings.
  • Contribute to the development of educational content, workshops, and community outreach programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and plan modifications in compliance with privacy regulations.
