BlueInGreen, Inc. is seeking a senior software engineer to support core platform engineering initiatives for a confidential enterprise technology client, focusing on backend systems that power large-scale digital products and services.

This fully remote, U.S.-only role involves designing, building, and shipping reliable backend systems; collaborating across engineering, product, design, data science, and analytics; and owning outcomes from development to production support.

Formación

• 6-8+ years of professional experience designing, building, and shipping software.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and ability to write clean, production-quality code.
• Proven experience designing and supporting large-scale backend systems.
• Strong systems design skills to craft scalable solutions.
• Experience with large-scale, low-latency distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-driven and adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity.

Support core platform engineering initiatives for a confidential enterprise technology client, with a focus on designing, building, and shipping backend systems that support large-scale digital products and services.

Schedule: Fully remote, U.S.-only role. Assignment length and any extension or conversion details will be discussed during the hiring process.

What we are looking for

• 6-8+ years of professional experience designing, building, and shipping software.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and ability to write clean, reliable, production-quality code.
• Proven experience designing and supporting large-scale backend systems.
• Strong systems design skills with the ability to craft scalable solutions that support product and engineering goals.
• Experience working with large-scale, low-latency distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, written communication, verbal communication, and listening skills.
• Self-driven, proactive, impact-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working through ambiguity.
• Must be located in the United States and eligible to work as a W2 employee of BlueInGreen.

Helpful, but not required

• Experience with API platforms, messaging systems, personalization systems, sign-up flows, partner integrations, payments, billing, or other high-scale consumer platform systems.
• Experience working in environments with high availability, low latency, and high throughput requirements.
• Experience supporting systems used by large consumer audiences.
• Experience mentoring engineers or helping improve engineering practices.
