Princeton IT Services, Inc is seeking a Backend Developer to build scalable APIs and cloud integrations using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure services in Camden, NJ.

You will design, implement, and maintain RESTful services, work with the Azure ecosystem including Functions and Service Bus, and collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable software.

A 2–4 year track record is preferred, with strong debugging skills and experience in Visual Studio.

About The Role

We are seeking a Backend Developer to develop APIs, backend services, and cloud-based application integrations using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop backend services using C#, .NET Core, and .NET 6 or later.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and integration workflows.
• Implement database access and schema changes using Entity Framework and SQL Server.
• Develop serverless integrations using Azure Functions.
• Implement asynchronous processing using Azure Service Bus.
• Integrate Azure AI Document Intelligence for OCR and document processing.
• Support API management and service integrations.
• Implement custom middleware, error handling, and application logging.
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Azure Application Insights.
• Manage dependencies and NuGet packages.
• Integrate email functionality using Mailjet.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.

Required Qualifications

• 2 4 years of backend development experience.
