Job summary

IBM in Austin, TX, is seeking Software Developers to design, code, test, and deliver cloud-based solutions within the IBM Cloud platform. You will implement infrastructure automation, set up CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security and compliance across environments.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and strong knowledge of Linux OS, virtualization, container tech, and automation tools, with a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS and Windows Server environments.
• Proficiency with Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby and Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Chef and IT infra tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement and automate infrastructure solutions for IBM Cloud products and infra.
• Build and set up test automation and pipeline frameworks in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
• Administer automated CI/CD systems for development and test teams.
• Support compliance and security integrity of the environment.
• Collaborate with teams to develop monitoring and alerting for mission-critical services.
