IBM is seeking a Backend Developer intern to work on client-server architectures, APIs, and scalable server applications. You will contribute to IaaS/PaaS/SaaS projects and gain experience with Agile and cloud DevOps practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding in C++, Java, Python and related tech, with exposure to RESTful APIs and containerized environments. Bachelor's degree preferred; on-site internship in the United States.

Formación

• Must have basic knowledge in software development concepts.
• Experience with C++, C, Java, Golang, Ruby, Python, Perl, SQL.
• Working knowledge of servers, applications, devOps tools (Git, Jenkins), and databases.
• Familiarity with APIs.
• Basic knowledge of operating systems and container technologies; Internet services and managed services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to learn new technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Work with client-server architectures, networking protocols, application development, and databases.
• Create and configure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS applications.
• Create clean, well-documented APIs (e.g., REST).
• Design and code server applications, firmware, and databases that are reusable and scalable.
• Understand or gain experience with Agile and Cloud DevOps.
• Design and implement large-scale systems for on-premises and cloud delivery.
