Job description

As a Backend Developer at LinkedIn, you will own features end to end, from architecture through deployment and monitoring. Picture this: an internship Backend Developer seat in Winston-Salem, paying $48,000 - $70,000, where 1 years of doing the work earns you real say over how it gets done.

Key Responsibilities

• Shave milliseconds off the technology hot path that LinkedIn users feel every click
• Own the candidly-kind Linux subsystem that the rest of LinkedIn quietly depends on
• Spot the relentlessly-kind Linux anti-pattern in review before it spreads through LinkedIn
• Hunt down the latency spikes nobody at LinkedIn can explain
• Re-architect the technology flow so .NET Core handles ten times Winston-Salem's current load

What You'll Bring

• Familiarity with the rhythms of a calmly-fast-moving internship team
• 1+ years putting Vue.js to work in a technology setting
• Real Swift chops, plus the Vue.js curiosity to keep growing
• Comfort steering technology conversations toward a decision
• Track record that proves you can relentlessly-kind ship under deadline pressure
• The composure to deliver bad news early and clearly

LinkedIn is the spirited-and-grounded NC company that built its name on technology work nobody else wanted to do properly. Politics die fast at LinkedIn because we put the awkward stuff on the table early.

The offer is plainspoken: $48,000 - $70,000, coaching that grows you, benefits that cover you, and a schedule that flexes with Winston-Salem.

Right now, today, this seat at LinkedIn is genuinely empty and waiting.
