About the role:

• Build backend systems designed to handle scale and deliver strong performance across the platform
• Identify issues in live systems, diagnose root causes, and deploy fixes to keep services running smoothly
• Work alongside teams building frontends, testing features, and shaping product direction
• Uphold standards for code quality and adhere to established development practices
• Write clear documentation for APIs, internal processes, and the reasoning behind technical choices

What you'll work on:

• Crafting robust server-side features that respond quickly under load
• Monitoring and optimizing existing backend infrastructure
• Reviewing code and contributing to architectural decisions across the stack
• Creating and maintaining automated tests to catch problems early
