Infopro Digital is seeking a Backend Developer to own data-driven services for the American market from architecture to deployment on Azure. You will design APIs, manage data access, and ensure scalable, cost-effective cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Education: a degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional backend development.
• Strong C# and modern .NET (8+) skills, ASP.NET Core web APIs, EF Core, and SQL.
• Hands-on cloud experience (ideally Azure) and Git-based workflows.
• Commitment to automated testing, clean code, and responsible AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Greenfield development of data-driven applications for the US market.
• Build and evolve REST APIs and background services for large data volumes.
• Model and query relational and non-relational stores; optimize read paths.

You own the services and data access behind new, data‑driven products for the American market: from the first architecture decisions, through the APIs our frontend and our customers' systems consume, to running them reliably in Azure.

You'll be contributing to a variety of projects, while developing your skills and reaching new levels of expertise.

The tasks awaiting you:

You will be responsible for:

• Greenfield development. You design and develop new, largely data‑driven applications for the American market, contributing your ideas to solution design and taking responsibility for their implementation.
• APIs and services. You build and evolve REST APIs and background services that move large volumes of market data, with an eye on performance, scalability and cost in the cloud.
• Data access. You model and query relational and non‑relational stores, and keep read paths fast as data volumes grow.
• Operations. You ship your own work through our CI/CD pipelines and take responsibility for what runs in production, working together closely with the DevOps Team.
• Collaboration. You work closely with product managers in the US and international business users, as well as the Product Owner, development colleagues and QA in Germany.
• Agility. You work with your squad in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Education. A degree in computer science, a comparable qualification, or equivalent practical experience in software development.
• Experience. Several years (3+) of professional backend development. You develop pragmatically, with an eye on quality.
• Your core stack. Strong C# and modern .NET (8 or newer), ASP.NET Core web APIs, Entity Framework Core, and SQL.
• Cloud and delivery. Hands‑on experience running services in a public cloud, ideally Microsoft Azure, and comfort with Git-based workflows, code reviews and CI/CD.
• Quality. Enthusiasm for automated testing and clean code development, and an interest in using AI tooling well in day‑to‑day development.
• Language. You communicate fluently in English with international colleagues.
• Team player. An affinity for agile processes, and the communication skills to move your teammates toward a shared goal. Beyond the team you also work independently and with a strong sense of ownership.
• You would stand out with experience in event‑driven architectures and messaging, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, or work with pricing and market data.
