The Backend Developer will design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, collaborating with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration. Your primary tasks will involve writing clean, efficient, and scalable code to meet client needs.

You’ll join a dedicated team of developers in a collaborative environment at our Houston, Texas office, fostering innovation, creativity, continuous learning, and improvement. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to design, develop, and maintain software solutions, using a variety of programming languages and tools such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL. You’ll participate in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and plans for the day, and collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of your work. The office is equipped with the latest hardware and software, including high-resolution monitors, ergonomic chairs, and a quiet, open-plan workspace that encourages interaction and teamwork. To succeed in this role, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, along with 2-3 years of professional experience in software development. As a Backend Developer, you’ll be compensated between $95,000 and $139,618 annually, with a comprehensive benefits package offered to employees. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and systems that ensure the smooth operation of the company's software. You’ll work with various programming languages and frameworks, such as Python, Java, or Node.js, to build robust and scalable solutions. Your tasks will include writing and optimizing code, integrating databases, and ensuring the security and performance of the applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software products. The workplace is typically an office environment, but some companies may offer remote work options.
