Job summary

AuraOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend, to work on AI Code Review tasks in a remote US-eligible contractor role. You will reproduce TypeScript code outputs in a sandbox, run tests, and provide clear rationales.

You will grade solutions for correctness, write minimal failing tests, and document recurring failures to guide model improvements. Strong TypeScript, Node.js, and Rust skills plus testing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript and Node.js with strong backend experience.
• Experience writing concise unit tests that cover edge cases.
• Familiarity with multiple testing frameworks (Jest, pytest, JUnit).

Responsibilities

• Run and reproduce TypeScript code outputs in a sandboxed environment for AI Code Review tasks.
• Grade TypeScript solutions for correctness, style, and edge-case handling.
• Write minimal failing tests demonstrating a model's bug.
• Compare paired solutions and rank them with rubric-based rationale.
• Tag failure modes with severity scores.
• Document recurring code-generation failures for model improvements.
• Calibrate against gold-standard reviews to maintain inter-rater agreement.
