Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a Software Engineer with strong C# and .NET expertise to build, enhance, and maintain backend applications. This role emphasizes server-side logic, APIs, data access, and reliable code in collaboration with a small development team.

You will be on-site in Munhall, PA five days a week, contribute to design discussions, and deliver scalable solutions for e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.

Qualifications

• Professional experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
• Strong backend development skills including APIs and data access.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Ability to contribute to technical design conversations and evaluate approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend functionality using C# and .NET, focusing on business logic.
• Contribute to solution design discussions and evaluate architectural approaches.
• Build and maintain APIs, service integrations, and data-driven components.
• Write clean, maintainable, efficient code for performance and reliability.
• Work with relational databases to develop queries and optimize data access.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve applications through refactoring and targeted enhancements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality.
