Job summary

Selector is seeking a backend-focused engineer to design, build, and maintain production-grade Python code for ETL pipelines and data models. You will apply agentic AI workflows to automate data engineering and root-cause analysis in customer environments.

You will collaborate with customers to understand data structures and translate requirements into practical technical solutions, supporting deployment and ongoing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of professional engineering experience.
• Solid Python coding skills, ETL pipelines, and complex data structures.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain production-grade Python code for ETL pipelines, data models, and platform integrations.
• Apply agentic AI workflows to automate data engineering, correlation, and root cause analysis across complex data.
• Build backend logic connecting the platform to customer data sources, APIs, and tooling.
• Engage with customers to understand data structures and analytics requirements and translate them into solutions.
• Support integration and deployment of the platform to meet customer requirements with senior engineers.
• Help enable customers for use and self-serve extensions of capabilities.
• Document customer feedback and translate into product and engineering improvements.
