Job summary

Chick-fil-A Willowbrook is looking for a Back of House Team Member to support kitchen operations, prepare and cook menu items, and uphold high standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with back and front-of-house teammates, maintain cleanliness, and ensure orders are prepared accurately and quickly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (required by local law).
• Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Can hustle and work well in a fast pace environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to Chick-fil-A recipes and standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workspaces.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Work closely with both back & front-of-house to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, and ovens.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on food preparation techniques and safety standards.
• Assist in training new team members as needed.
• Support the front-of-house team in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring food orders are prepared accurately and quickly.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise in the kitchen, escalating to management as necessary.
