West Coast Dental in Monrovia, CA is seeking a Back Floor Supervisor RDA to support dentists across multiple specialties in a fast-paced clinic. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and maintaining patient records with a focus on safety and quality care.

The position offers full-time hours with flexible scheduling, opportunities for ongoing CE, mentorship, and career advancement within 45+ Southern California offices.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
• Current California X-ray certification
• Coronal polish and sealant certification
• CPR/BLS certification and OSHA awareness

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays
• Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed
• Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Be part of creating a positive patient experience from start to finish
• Take initiative to learn new skills across multiple specialties
• Participate in mentoring programs to grow clinical expertise and career

Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do)

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards

Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (including ortho, oral surgery, etc.)

Take, develop, and process dental X-rays

Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care

Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols

Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment

Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care

Be a key part of creating a positive patient experience from start to finish

Take initiative to learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties

Participate in mentoring programs to grow your clinical expertise and advance your career

Qualifications

• Specialty experience (Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatrics) is a plus but not required
