We are looking for self motivated and talented people with an entrepreneurial streak. You will demonstrate the ability to identify root causes of problems instead of solving systems and can identify and separate what must be done now what should be improved later.

Requirements

• Be fanatical about customers' needs and empowering them with technology that is simple to use while also fast and robust.
• Recognize that no one can write perfect code and be diligent about ensuring your code is thoroughly tested.
• Not be a one trick pony. e.g. You are able to design and build solutions at multiple levels of the technology stack (html, css, javascript, python/ruby/php, sql, java/c/c++). We expect you to be hands on with all of them and defer to others on the team when you need help tackling an area you are not comfortable with.
• Have proven experience developing web based applications that are used by real people right now.
• Be proficient working with one or more dynamic high level languages. You have experience working with lower level languages and will not be hesitant to debug, modify existing low level language software.
• Know the operating systems you develop on and your code runs on intimately. You are able to identify and solve problems related to development and production execution with regards to the operating systems and the whole stack.
• You are personable and enjoyable working with for extended periods of time.
• You work well in a team and enhance the performance of other engineers by sharing and educating them on the areas you have the greatest expertise in.
