Overview

Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: Seattle, WA (Hybrid) – one week onsite every month

Duration: Long-term contract W2 (No Third Party Candidates)

Need strong experience with Data Structures and Algorithms; expertise with coding tests (e.g., HackerRank).

Responsibilities

• Apply expert knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms to backend solutions.
• Develop with Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Utilize Amazon Web Services (Aurora, S3, EC2, Lambda, Athena) in deployments.
• Design and implement RESTful services and microservices architectures.
• Conduct test automation across Unit, Integration, Regression, and Load testing.
• Work with modern infrastructure tools and pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, Terraform).
• Use ops/tools for logging and metrics (New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch).
• Experience with messaging technologies/patterns (Kafka, SQS).
