Job summary

Salt is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to own a critical data ingestion platform, including OCR, document classification, embeddings, and AI/CV processing. The role emphasizes distributed systems, workflow orchestration, reliability, and ownership of the Temporal architecture.

You will work with Docker, Kubernetes, and production infrastructure to build durable, fault-tolerant, and highly scalable systems. The team supports a Hybrid role with 2 days onsite in Redwood City, CA.

Qualifications
