Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking a Business Analyst to support the US Custody and Clearing business. You will elicit requirements from multiple stakeholders and translate them into operational specifications while guiding analysis of processes and data to enable successful execution.

Responsibilities include collaborating with implementation teams, mapping processes, and ensuring alignment between business needs and technical delivery within a large-scale change environment.

Qualifications

• Significant operational experience in financial services, specifically asset servicing, tax and settlements within the Custody and Clearing.
• Experience with Data Analyst, Process Mapping, User Documentation, Root Cause Analysis and Gap Analysis.
• Working knowledge of process design, business readiness, test planning and solution design.

Responsibilities

• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, in-person visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis (as applicable)
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required
• Drive and challenge business unit and customers on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
• Leverage strong analytical and product management skills required to gain a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into applicable operational requirements
• Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates and standards
• Collaborate with implementation teams, supply lines and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs

• Preferred candidates with working knowledge of process design, business readiness, test planning and solution design
• Demonstrated experience in business analysis roles
• Experience of working in a large scale change environment
