Qualifications

• BA in journalism, communications, English or related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience editing, proofreading and writing articles; superior writing skills in English.
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across the business, marketing colleagues and leadership.
• Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to work with visual designers, developers and videographers.
• Understanding of tone and voice and how to adapt both for various digital channels including social media, web and email, as well traditional channels.
• Strong storytelling skills; capable of transforming complex financial concepts into engaging, relevant content.
• Comfort working under tight deadlines and ability to work on multiple high-priority pieces simultaneously.
• Flawless accuracy in terms of grammar and information; meticulous attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic self-starter with a desire to excel.
• Curious, strategic and able to connect individual deliverables with overarching business priorities.

Responsibilities

• Defining a strategic agenda of content topics that align with business goals and objectives.
• Pitch, draft and publish research content that transforms dense reports into digital-friendly formats.
• Write, edit and publish multiple formats from long to short form under deadlines.
• Apply SEO best practices to generate organic traffic to JPMorgan.com.
• Analyze and interpret content marketing metrics to optimize content and drive insights.
• Manage content approvals with stakeholders, Legal and Compliance, Creative teams, etc.
• Pitch, produce and distribute content types including articles and related email and social posts.
• Stay up to date on financial news to write timely, relevant articles.
• Maintain a deep understanding of content across JPMorgan to ensure narrative consistency.
• Own KPI tracking and report performance results to stakeholders.
• Craft compelling XLOB narratives showcasing client relationships within the CIB.
