Job summary

Hyundai Motor America seeks an experienced automotive technician to diagnose and repair complex vehicle systems at a dealership. The role requires 4–7 years of hands-on experience, high standards, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

This full-time position offers relocation assistance and potential premium for warranty hours completed. Training programs including Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 4–7 years automotive technician experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems to dealership standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, heating and cooling to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Work with minimal supervision while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Contribute to a growing dealership service team and support warranty hours as needed.

Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program

Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor-led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.
