B/SPOKE Studios in Boston is seeking part-time YOGA: SCULPT Instructors who are coaches first. Instructors blend yoga flow with sculpt training, using music to drive cues and energy.

You will create grounded, empowering, and challenging experiences for every client, while upholding the B/SPOKE standard. Job description

We're looking for YOGA: SCULPT Instructors who are exceptional coaches first. They combine foundational yoga expertise, strength-based movement, musicality, and authentic connection to create an experience that feels grounded, empowering, and challenging for every client. Beyond the studio floor, they are professionals, teammates, and leaders who help strengthen the B/SPOKE community.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Role: Part-Time YOGA: SCULPT Instructor

Location Priority: East Boston (all class times), Cape House (all class times)

B/SPOKE YOGA: SCULPT Instructors lead dynamic, music-driven classes that blend intentional yoga flow with athletic sculpt training. They create an environment where clients feel grounded, challenged, supported, and successful while delivering a consistent B/SPOKE experience in every class.

You are a coach first. You understand how to balance mindful movement with athletic challenge, creating a class experience that is both technically sound and emotionally engaging.

• Strong understanding of yoga principles, alignment, and movement mechanics
• Ability to blend yoga flow with strength-based sculpt exercises

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Before applying, please confirm that you meet the minimum eligibility requirements below.

• Required: 50-hour Yoga Sculpt Teacher Training certification
• At least 1 year of experience teaching group fitness in either YOGA: SCULPT or a music and beat-driven format.
• Have taken at least 10 or more B/SPOKE YOGA: SCULPT classes within the past 6 months (exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the B/SPOKE Recruitment & Training Team)

What We're Looking For

Movement Expertise:
You have a strong understanding of yoga principles, alignment, and safe movement patterns. You know how to maintain the integrity of yoga while incorporating strength-based sculpt movements, helping clients move with intention and confidence.

Programming & Class Design:
You create thoughtful, music-driven class experiences with intentional sequencing, smooth transitions, and purposeful intensity. You understand how to build an energy arc throughout class, balance yoga flow with sculpt intervals, and create programming that challenges clients while remaining accessible.

Coaching & Leadership:
You are a coach first. You communicate with clarity, deliver effective cueing, and create a room where clients feel motivated, supported, and connected. You lead with presence and authenticity while helping every client feel successful, regardless of experience level.

Culture & Team Contribution:
You represent the B/SPOKE brand with integrity both inside and outside the studio. You're reliable, collaborative, and open to feedback, recognizing that great instructors never stop learning. You contribute positively to our instructor community and are committed to creating an inclusive experience where every client feels welcomed and empowered.

AVAILABILITY & SCHEDULING EXPECTATIONS

Successful candidates are expected to:

• Be available to teach a minimum of 4 permanent classes per week (required)
• Maintain regular weekend availability for permanent and subbed classes (preferred)
• Contribute actively to additional schedule opportunities, including subbing
• Communicate proactively regarding scheduling, availability, and commitments

TRAINING & ONBOARDING EXPECTATIONS

Up to 30 hours over 6–8 weeks.

Training will occur primarily on weekday evenings and weekends. Flexibility availability is required. Anticipated training window: August 20th - October 11th 2027.

Training includes a combination of:

• Asynchronous virtual learning & manual work
• In-person coaching
• Practice teaching

During training, you'll be expected to:

• Attend every session
• Complete homework on time
• Attend a minimum of 2 B/SPOKE YOGA: SCULPT classes per week
• Practice independently

An invitation to Training does not guarantee placement on the YOGA: SCULPT instructor team. Final placement is contingent upon performance throughout Training, successful completion of the final demo class, and readiness to deliver the B/SPOKE experience.
