Job summary

The Gates Chili Central School District is seeking a dedicated Cleaner for the B shift during the school year, breaks, and summer. This labor position involves cleaning interiors, furniture, and fixtures under supervision to maintain a safe and clean learning environment.

Compensation is $16.79/hr with an additional $0.75 shift differential. Benefits include health/vision/dental insurance, paid personal time, paid sick time, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• No formal education or experience required; but cleaning experience desirable.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• NYS Driver's license or access to transportation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, dust mops and cleans floors, hallways and entrances.
• Dusts and cleans office and classroom furniture and fixtures.
• Cleans walls, desks, counters and glass surfaces; washes windows.
• Cleans restrooms including fixtures and floors.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstered furniture; empty trash.
