Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using professional diagnostic equipment.
• Perform general automotive maintenance, vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex diagnostic concerns, including difficult or previously unresolved vehicle problems referred by other repair shops.
• Service and repair primarily German and European vehicles while also working on domestic, Asian, and other makes and models.
• Utilize professional diagnostic scan tools, including Autologic, Snap-on ZEUS, Autel, VCDS, DrivePro, and iScan.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, identify mechanical concerns, and determine necessary repairs.
• Complete assigned automotive repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy.
• Collaborate with experienced technicians to diagnose challenging problems and maintain an efficient shop workflow.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on automotive repair experience preferred, with demonstrated B-Level automotive diagnostic and repair capabilities.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns.
• Experience performing general automotive repairs, vehicle inspections, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose and complete automotive repairs independently while collaborating with a small, experienced team.
• Familiarity with professional automotive diagnostic equipment and repair information systems; experience with Autologic, Snap-on ZEUS, Autel, VCDS, or similar tools preferred.
• German or European automotive repair experience preferred, particularly diagnosing challenging or previously unresolved vehicle issues.
• ASE certifications and EPA Section 609 A/C Refrigerant Certification preferred, along with an interest in continued technical development.
