Bob King Automotive Group in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking an Automotive Technician to maintain and repair vehicles to dealership standards.

The position offers a strong pay package including up to $72.50 per hour, a first-year incentive up to $6,000+, and opportunities for career advancement, with ongoing training and comprehensive benefits. This is a full-time, on-site role at our dealership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as automotive technician
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and basic computer/tech use
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to dealership standards
• Complete repairs per repair order with efficiency
• Test components with diagnostic tools and equipment
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C
• Communicate with Service Advisor about safety and time estimates
• Adhere to safety protocols at all times
• Pass pre-employment testing including background and drug screen

All newly hired B Level Technicians can qualify with the opportunity to earn up $6,000+ in addition to regular pay in the first year*. PLUS the opportunity to earn up to $72.50 per flat rate hour!

• Bob King Automotive Management representative will provide details to those with prior experience as an B Level Technician. Criteria for qualification will include prior experience and demonstration of skill level. Payments will be made over the 1st year of employment so the new hire must maintain employed status during this time to earn the full payment amount. This payment is in leu of any guarantees.

Automotive Technician Requirements

• 2 + Years of Experience as Automotive Technician REQUIRED
• Communication skills - communicates effectively with others.
• Time management - managing one's own time and time of others.
• Computer/Technology Experience
• Multi-Tasking Ability
• Ability to lift and move automotive parts and tires, potentially up to 75 pounds

Automotive Technician Responsibilities

• Responsible for vehicle maintenance and repair
• Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Able to diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including but not limited to Engine, Transmission, Electrical, Steering, Suspension, Braking, Air Conditioning, etc. to specification.
• Communicates directly with the Service Advisor and Service Manager concerning the safety of inspected vehicles. Provide an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
