Job summary

CA CI International is hiring an AVD Engineer to design, configure, and maintain a large Azure Virtual Desktop environment. The SME will troubleshoot performance issues and drive system design, integration, and automation across network, storage, and Azure AD/Intune.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years (or 16 years) of relevant experience, strong collaboration, and excellent communication. DoD clearance is not initially required, but the role demands security-conscious operations and cross-team

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD clearance
• Master's degree + 7 years’ experience OR 16 years of experience
• Experience in Microsoft Azure, Azure Networking, Storage and Virtual Desktops
• Experience managing and administering Windows Servers
• Experience with Azure AD, Intune, FSLogix
• Experience in VDI profile management
• Endpoint protection, policy management and application of STIGs
• AVD integration with Office 365 services
• Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services
• Collaborate and work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design VDI solutions and provide Tier 3/4 support to system administrators
• Guide optimization of desktops for platform interoperability and liaise between VDI technologies
• Offer endpoint support on VDI tasks and resolve related issues
• Maintain advanced knowledge of administration, engineering, and implementation of VDI technologies
• Operate across multiple complex production environments with multiple stakeholders
• Apply extensive technical expertise across related disciplines
• Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and buy/make decisions
