Job summary

DTS is seeking an Azure Technical Lead to drive cloud strategy and implementation from Dallas, TX. You will own Azure architecture across App Services, Functions, Front Door/WAF, storage, and databases, guiding large-scale migrations and modernization efforts.

Lead design decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure secure, scalable solutions with CI/CD, testing, and IaC practices. Expect competitive compensation and a dynamic, enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Cloud architecture on Azure with App Services, Functions, Front Door/WAF, Storage, Azure SQL/PostgreSQL.
• Strong .NET/C# development and Angular proficiency for frontend/back-end boundaries.
• Enterprise interconnectivity with API-first design and service-to-service security.
• Solid SDLC/DevOps experience with CI, automated testing, Agile; exposure to GitHub Actions or Octopus Deploy; IaC with Bicep is a plus.
• Capacity planning, load/perf testing strategies and telemetry-driven optimization.
• Structured decision-making with ADRs, risk-driven spikes/POCs, migration patterns.

Job Description

Technical Skills

• Cloud Architecture (Azure): App Services/Functions, Front Door/WAF, Storage, Azure SQL & PostgreSQL; AKS experience strongly preferred.
• Programming & Frameworks: In-depth .NET/C#; working fluency with Angular (component/service boundaries, integration patterns).
• Enterprise Interconnectivity: API-first design, service-to-service security, OIDC/JWT, messaging/eventing, contract versioning.
• SDLC & DevOps: Deep knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, CI, automated testing, and Agile; hands-on with GitHub Actions and/or Octopus Deploy (or equivalent); IaC with Bicep a plus.
• Scalability & Performance Modeling: Capacity planning, load/perf testing strategies, caching, and telemetry-driven optimization.
• Architecture Trade-offs: Structured decision-making with ADRs; risk-driven spikes/POCs; migration patterns (strangler, anti-corruption layer).

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years experience as Technical Lead
• Delivered medium- to large-scale projects: implementing business solutions and integrating with existing enterprise tools.
• Experience leading multi-system migrations/modernizations.
• Independent thinker with strong technology awareness, able to integrate disparate concepts into original, pragmatic solutions.
