Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in database development or data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with T-SQL including stored procedures, tables, views, and complex queries.
• Experience building and debugging Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT processes and data movement between systems.
• Experience data transformation, cleansing, and data quality activities.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database or Azure SQL Managed Instance (last 2–3 yrs).
• Experience with automation using Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps for source control and DB changes.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and debug Azure Data Factory pipelines for data integration and movement.
• Develop and optimize stored procedures, tables, views, functions using T-SQL.
• Design and maintain ETL/ELT processes across multiple systems.
• Transform, cleanse, validate, and ensure data quality and consistency.
• Develop automation scripts using Python or PowerShell.
• Work with Azure SQL Database/Managed Instance to optimize solutions.
• Troubleshoot data pipelines, DB processes, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to meet data needs.
• Implement DB changes using Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Modernize database and data processes using Azure cloud technologies.
