Job summary

Chenega Corporation is seeking a Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and health of EDAV’s Azure cloud environment. The role centers on Terraform to design and manage infrastructure as code for mission-critical systems, working with platform engineers, developers, security, and product stakeholders to improve cloud ops and Kubernetes operations.

Qualifications

4+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.
2+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience.
2+ years of Terraform to design modules, manage state, and troubleshoot.
Experience administering Kubernetes (preferably AKS).
Ability to work on-site in the Washington DC metro area.
Ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust/Suitability clearance.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and troubleshoot production Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
Support reliability, performance, and availability of workloads in AKS.
Troubleshoot cloud, networking, Kubernetes, and app reliability issues.
Automate cloud operations to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
Collaborate with development and operations to improve deployments and incident response.
Implement monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and reporting.
Identify reliability risks and suggest cloud architecture improvements.
Document infrastructure, procedures, and runbooks.
