Job summary

GT is partnering with KD Pharma to find an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support a Microsoft-based data platform and Azure environment. The role is hands-on with architecture exposure, focusing on infrastructure, identity, and security in a lean, fast-paced setting.

Initial engagement includes a 6-week Discovery phase with ~45–60 hours of involvement, followed by potential longer-term work on PoC design, deployment and ongoing platform improvements for global operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and production cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Entra ID, AD, and hybrid identity management.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Review the current Azure and hybrid infrastructure and contribute to target architecture, PoC scope, implementation planning and estimates.
• Design, manage and improve Azure and hybrid infrastructure aligning with requirements.
• Support cloud networking, including VPNs, Virtual WAN, Firewall and Bastion.
• Contribute to cloud security, identity management and access control.
• Improve monitoring, backup, recovery and disaster recovery practices.
• Build infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines using IaC tools.
