Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Microsoft Azure Developer to support federal clients with cloud-based applications and O&M for mission-critical systems. The role emphasizes hands-on Azure development, API/microservice work, and agile collaboration within a federal environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years with Microsoft tools (C#, .NET, Azure) and strong noSQL/storage experience, plus DevOps CI/CD proficiency. This is a hybrid role with locations in the D.C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years with Microsoft development tools and technologies (Visual Studio, SQL Server, C#, .NET, .NET Core/5+, WCF, SSIS, SSRS, Azure DevOps).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Functions, App Services, and cloud deployment.
• Experience with NoSQL and Azure Storage (Blob, Table, Queues).
• Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving and driving software improvements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new apps and services in an agile environment.
• Translate requirements and architecture designs into high-quality, maintainable code.
• Contribute to design, specs, development, and testing to support performance.
• Develop and integrate APIs and microservices.
• Work with relational and NoSQL data stores, including Azure Storage solutions.
• Support ongoing O&M for existing applications.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, testers, and cross-functional teammates to meet client needs.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Contribute to CI/CD and deployment best practices.
