Job summary

CACI International Inc in Arlington, VA is seeking an Azure Integration & DevOps Engineer to support a mission-critical environment for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security.

You will design, deploy, and monitor Azure-based integrations, build event-driven solutions, and manage IaC with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and security controls across Entra ID and Key Vault. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Azure, cloud engineering, DevOps, software development, or systems integration.
  • Secret clearance
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Hubs, and related integration services.
  • Strong experience with Terraform/IaC and automated Azure infrastructure deployment.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with cloud security concepts including RBAC, managed identities, Entra ID, and Key Vault.
  • Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support Azure integration solutions.

  • Develop and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for repeatable Azure infrastructure deployments.

  • Implement secure solutions using Entra ID, managed identities, Key Vault, RBAC, and appropriate cloud security practices.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application, integration, infrastructure, and production issues using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Develop APIs, integrations, and automation using C#/.NET, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
  • Use GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, and other approved AI‑assisted development tools to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and automation.
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and government stakeholders to deliver mission‑focused solutions.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands‑on Azure Integration & DevOps Engineer to support a mission‑critical environment for the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security.


This role is ideal for an engineer who sits at the intersection of cloud engineering, DevOps, software development, and enterprise integration. The successful candidate will build, deploy, automate, monitor, and support Azure‑based integration solutions using services such as Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage, and Application Insights.


We are looking for someone who can do more than simply develop integrations. This person should understand how those integrations get secured, deployed through CI/CD, monitored in production, troubleshot, and operated reliably in a government environment.


The engineer will also leverage modern AI‑assisted development and Microsoft Copilot capabilities to accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, automate routine engineering tasks, and help modernize existing solutions while maintaining appropriate security and governance.

Responsibilities

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

$113,200 - $237,800
