Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Azure Infra Architect with 8–10 years of IT experience to design and guide secure cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work across Azure infrastructure, container platforms, API management, and DevOps practices to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of IT experience with cloud design and enterprise delivery.
• Strong Azure services knowledge in networking, storage, identity, security and governance.
• Hands-on OpenShift/Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Experience with 3scale API Management or similar gateways.
• Familiarity with Kafka or equivalent event streaming platforms.
• IaC/Terraform experience for repeatable provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Azure infrastructure patterns across compute, networking and governance.
• Design, deploy and manage container platforms (ARO/Kubernetes) for microservices.
• Integrate API gateways and manage API security and lifecycle.
• Support real-time data flows with Kafka and event-driven integrations.
• Develop Terraform modules and reusable automation patterns.
• Lead technical reviews and align solutions with architecture standards.
• Collaborate with product, development, QA and security teams to drive delivery.
