Job summary

Capital Group in Charlotte seeks an Information Security Engineer III to own Azure security and support cloud strategy. You will reduce operational risk and strengthen security posture while enabling secure cloud operations.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in CS or information security and at least five years in core security (IAM, cryptography, network protocols, secure coding). You will implement NIST 800-53, CIS benchmarks, IaC security scanning, and CI/CD automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in core security across multiple domains (IAM, cryptography, network security protocols, secure coding).
• Experience securing large-scale cloud environments, especially Azure, and implementing Azure security controls.
• Experience applying security frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53 and CIS Benchmarks to harden systems and ensure compliance.
• Experience expanding IaC (Terraform) and GitOps as default provisioning paths, plus CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
