Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Delivery Lead to own delivery of Azure Government cloud platforms, guiding technical direction and enabling delivery teams. You will balance security, scale, and long-term health while driving DevSecOps practices and team capability across multiple government-focused programs.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering with cloud experience, Azure certifications, and strong communication. EY offers a hybrid model and a comprehensive Total Rewards package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in engineering roles with private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, and/or SaaS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
• Hands-on IaC/CI/CD with Bicep, Azure DevOps, ARM templates, or Ansible.
• Containers and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, or Helm for scalable deployments.
• Networking fundamentals including VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, and load-balancing.
• Cloud security principles including least privilege and regulatory compliance (NIST, FedRAMP).
• Identity and access: Entra ID, Azure RBAC, PIM, managed identities.
• Windows/Linux administration and scripting (PowerShell; Python a plus).
• Experience with government security frameworks and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities across multiple initiatives.
• Guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms.
• Establish DevSecOps practices and automation to improve delivery quality and reliability.
• Make informed trade-off decisions balancing speed, quality, and risk.
• Lead architecture and design reviews for standards and outcomes.
• Oversee risk, dependency, and issue management across deliveries.
• Influence stakeholders across product, engineering, and leadership without direct authority.
• Develop engineering talent through coaching and feedback.
• Promote operational excellence and continuous process improvement.
