Job summary

BVG & Company is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer II to support the NEST Communication Program in Albuquerque. You will design, implement, secure, automate, and sustain cloud and hybrid network infrastructure, with a focus on Azure Government and national-security missions.

Must have DoE/NNSA experience and current clearance potential. The role emphasizes Azure, cloud networking, cybersecurity, and systems administration, with strong emphasis on IaC and automation tools, to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years in cloud engineering, network engineering, systems administration, cybersecurity, or related IT disciplines; 4 years may replace a degree.
• 3+ years hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, including 2+ years on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing resilient cloud architectures with DR, backups, and automated recovery.
• Experience with Azure Government or classified information systems and national-security missions.
• Experience with IaC and automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Strong TCP/IP knowledge and experience integrating Azure with on-premise data centers and Active Directory.
