Job summary

Conviso Inc. is seeking an Azure Engineer with active Secret/Tier 5 Secret clearance to design, provision, configure, and validate our Azure environment.

The role focuses on implementing Azure infrastructure, Windows Server 2022 configurations, network segmentation, security tooling integrations, hybrid connectivity, and disaster recovery in coordination with multiple teams. Required four+ years' experience in Azure infrastructure within enterprise or regulated settings, strong hands-on Azure

Qualifications

• Four+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure subscriptions, virtual networks, subnets, route tables, network security controls, RBAC, Azure Policy, and resource governance.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments, preferably Windows Server 2019 or 2022.
• Experience with hybrid Azure and on-premises connectivity, DNS, firewall rules, certificates, and secure network paths.
• Experience supporting server hardening, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, patching, and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, middleware, application, and network dependencies across multiple technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to produce clear technical documentation and implementation evidence.
• Ability to work within formal change-control, approval, and stakeholder coordination processes.

Job description

The Azure Engineer will support the design, provisioning, configuration, and validation of the Azure environment. This role will implement approved Azure infrastructure, Windows Server 2022 configurations, network segmentation, security tooling integrations, hybrid connectivity, and disaster recovery capabilities in coordination with Infrastructure, Security, Database, Development, ICAM/eAuth, DNS, DMZ, and application stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Recommended minimum of four years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure subscriptions, virtual networks, subnets, route tables, network security controls, RBAC, Azure Policy, and resource governance.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments, preferably Windows Server 2019 or 2022.
• Experience with hybrid Azure and on-premises connectivity, DNS, firewall rules, certificates, and secure network paths.
• Experience supporting server hardening, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, patching, and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, middleware, application, and network dependencies across multiple technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Site Recovery or comparable disaster recovery technologies.
• Experience supporting TLS configuration, encryption in transit, and certificate lifecycle activities.
• Experience in federal, public-sector, or other highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure SQL Managed Instance, customer-managed keys, and Azure security services.
• Azure infrastructure or architecture certification, such as AZ-104 or AZ-305.
