Job summary

Safepoint MGA, LLC is seeking a DevOps & Systems Engineer to ensure reliable cloud and internal infrastructure. You will primarily support Microsoft Azure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring, and security across production, UAT, and development environments.

The role emphasizes automation and repeatability using Azure PaaS, PowerShell, IaC, and CI/CD tooling, with collaboration across software, data, security, and business technology teams.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of hands-on DevOps/cloud/systems experience in Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Azure administration, Azure DevOps, Windows infra, PowerShell, networking, Git, monitoring, and security.
• Troubleshooting across the technology stack.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Azure subscriptions, resources, storage, and related services.
• Build and improve Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and release management.
• Develop automation using Bicep/ARM/Terraform and PowerShell.
• Configure Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics with alerts and dashboards.
• Administer Windows servers, DNS, DHCP, certificates, and file services.
• Support Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, MFA, and SSO.
• Assist with networking, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Document infrastructure diagrams and runbooks.
• Provide after-hours production support as needed.
