Job summary

Embedded Shishya is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support a production lifecycle for a life insurance platform hosted in the cloud. You will design, provision, and secure scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform and modern GitOps workflows to deliver reliable, compliant deployments across apps and data services.

You will collaborate with architecture, data, and security teams, mentor junior engineers, and maintain runbooks and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Azure DevOps and cloud automation.
• Hands-on Terraform with modules, workspaces, backends, and state management.
• Experience building YAML pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with Argo CD and GitOps for AKS deployments.
• Solid Azure RBAC, networking, storage, and governance.
• Experience with Databricks and Unity Catalog.
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• English at least B2 level and willingness to cover 4:00 PM–12:00 AM CST shift.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain scalable Azure infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build, optimize, and support YAML-based Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infra, apps, containers, and data workloads.
• Implement and maintain GitOps deployment workflows using Argo CD for AKS clusters.
• Embed DevSecOps practices into pipelines with SonarQube, secrets management, and compliance checks.
• Administer and optimize Azure services (VNets, LB, App Services, Key Vault, Storage, Azure AD) with RBAC governance.
• Configure monitoring with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics; troubleshoot issues.
• Manage Databricks workspaces and Unity Catalog; automate deployments via Terraform and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with architecture, data, and security; maintain runbooks and mentor juniors.
