Job summary

High Country Search Group is seeking a DevOps Engineer in the Denver metro area. The role focuses on Azure and AKS, building secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and self-service platform engineering in a hybrid Greenwood Village setting.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, manage IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu, and automate deployments while improving observability and security across teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of hands-on DevOps, Systems, or Cloud Engineering.
• Microsoft Azure cloud architecture knowledge and AKS administration.
• Experience building pipelines with GitHub Actions and GitOps with ArgoCD.
• Proficiency in IaC with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes workflows.
• Scripting abilities in Bash or Python.
• Exposure to monitoring/logging stacks (Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus).
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Provision, scale, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure and AKS environments.
• Author/maintain IaC with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Package/deploy containerized microservices with Helm and Kustomize.
• Build internal developer platform tools and reusable templates for self-service engineering.
• Advance telemetry/observability with Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Datadog or Prometheus.
• Enhance pipeline security, governance, and consistency across teams.
• Investigate incidents and support reliability including on-call rotation.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to streamline troubleshooting and automation.
