Job summary

Welldoc, a leader in digital health, is seeking an experienced DevOps engineer to support our Ops/IT team in deploying updates and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure. You will collaborate with development, security, and network teams to meet customer needs and drive reliability.

The role requires 3+ years in a DevOps or similar software engineering position, strong Azure knowledge, scripting skills (Python/PowerShell), and experience with SQL Server, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Azure compute, storage, networking, IAM, policies, resource groups.
• Scripting in Python and PowerShell.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server and SQL queries.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, and network security.
• Ability to work in crossfunctional teams; good problem-solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support Azure-based cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy product updates and identify production issues.
• Collaborate with Networking, Security, DevOps, and App Dev teams.
• Build and maintain dev/test/production environments.
• Monitor and optimize Azure resources.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, and application performance.
• Automate tasks with scripting (PowerShell/Python).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Document system configurations and procedures.
