Job summary

Infosys Limited seeks a Technology Consultant 2 in Cincinnati to drive data engineering initiatives using Azure, Databricks, Spark, and CI/CD practices. You will collaborate across teams to elicit requirements, design solutions, implement features, test thoroughly, and deploy reliable data platforms.

The role emphasizes end-to-end SDLC execution, mentorship of engineers, and delivering scalable data pipelines in a collaborative, global delivery environment. Some relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience architecting and implementing data solutions using Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Proficiency in data engineering technologies, including Apache Spark, Kafka, SQL, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end implementation of data warehouses and data marts.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, including Data Vault, dimensional modeling, and OLAP design.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable solutions for distributed data systems.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and platforms such as GitHub Actions and Azure Pipelines.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring data engineers.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to design and deliver complex data engineering solutions

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned parts of business requirements.
• Facilitate software application design discussions and document design decisions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications.
• Conduct code reviews, make changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for new software.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base.
